A Fisking

Today in the Wall St. Journal George Mellon was all Bushie. Here's a fisking. It was my presentation today in poli sci. Got an A. (In fairness, had some help with my grammer over at ramedial this morning. Footnotes were mainly Kerry, Dean, Kennedy ect.

One of the most remarkable assertions of the anti-Bush, antiwar choristers is that the U.S. has no "strategy for victory."

Gee, George, do you think it's because it don't? Oh, sorry are we talking about the strategy for killing innocent people for fun? My bad because it defanately have that.

The strategy's goal has been clear since September 11, 2001: To defeat the jihadists

Oh, is that why Bush attacked some other country that dint' have any? Your gonna kinda wanna rethink the strategy, necon's. Just a suggestion.

The U.S. method has been spelled out repeatedly as well...

Yes, you have to repeat yourself over and over when you not making any sense. (Just wanted to point that out.)

Attack the jihadists on their own ground and replace their protectors with democratic governments that share U.S. values.

Values like terrorising kids and women and makeing them start killing for oil, having capital punishment, and not having universal health care or a living wage? Just asking. (Oh, and you are talking about democracy meaning voting machine's that mostly put reputzi vote's even when you vote Kerry, right?)

This has been defined as the "Bush Doctrine."

Wow, are we naming are foregn polecy after low IQ people now? He's a moron. And a liar. But it's all good.

The invasion of Iraq was not only about weapons of mass destruction

In fact it wasn't about that at all because there wasn't any! Joke's on us! Har har! Wanna see another one? It's call blowing up Iran but not just becuase of some nukes or whatever.

Invasion took out one terrorism sponsor, Saddam Hussein, and gave...

us another? like the U.S.? Abu Grabe was just under new management is all.

To counter the latest "no-strategy" claims, the White House was forced to explain it all again last week.

Maybe if no one knows what the hell your talking about you should stop explaining, shut up, and sit down? Just a thought.

Press sophisticates complained that there was nothing new. Of course not.

No, of course not. Nothing to see hear folk's move along.

The strategy has been there all along.

Did you see that on Faux News? Just asking.

The document on the White House Web site details a U.S. government doctrine designed and implemented by the commander in chief and approved by the Congress. It is the core of U.S. foreign policy and even though it is not "new," the greater detail makes the document worth reading by anyone with a serious interest in understanding what is going on and what is at state.

Or at least anyone who listens to Rush. Anyway, I think I read that one. Isn't it about the guy who takes over another country to be the big man in his family and get his buddy's some oil, than tell everyone it's about al Queda even though they weren't in that country? Yes, that's the one.

There are also signs of public weariness with the war.

Gee ya think? Maybe its because of the, you know, wrong war you did? Just a thought.

It is not a war on terror, but a defensive struggle against ruthless fanatics

You mean are troops? The one's who torture people, terrize Iraqi children and women at night? The one's who are going to lose the war? Oh, them, okay.

They dream of an Islamic "caliphate" stretching from the Far East to the coast of Spain, ruled over by the equivalent of Iran's ayatollahs with an equal disdain for human freedom and dignity.

Actually, no that's the Bushies dream of ruling the world your thinking of. Easy mistake to make. Pretty sure the Mislams just want to be not, you know, bombed and stuff.

Nowhere is the antipathy toward America and the West more clearly manifested than in Iran. The mullahs are hell-bent on developing a nuclear weapon with which to threaten their neighbors. Getting Iraq under control is urgent because of what may be the next threat in the Middle East.

Another war against Mislams who don't have WMD but by coincidence have oil?! Oh, well, gotta do what you gotta do!

The strategy is in fact working.

Unless your, you know, not a rich corporate white guy. But other than that its working. Hmm. Did you see that on Faux? Just asking.
