Wow. We completely messed up there country but when we have a chance to go away and say sorry we say no.

What I gathered from the post, was that you believe that our troops should be removed from the country, if that's so, I’m sorry to say, your belief is solely based on the consequences this country has faced, and that I believe is wrong, lets take a more objective view on this matter, shall we?
For one, the country was in dire need (North Korea as well,) for help from the outside world, its people were forced into an unbearable state of constant tyranny and help seemed to be no where in sight.
Two; it's president(ruler)saw fit to imprison it's countrymen for inane reasons such as losing a football game, not accepting his dictatorial rulings or plotting to expose the manner in which he choose to run the country.
However, the reason we entered the country was, perhaps, on a falsified accusation, but, nevertheless, a dictator is now with out power, and the Iraqi people have a chance, (July 4th, ring a bell?) with our help and the UN (hopefully) to grow and better themselves.
The loss of our loved ones is a very hard fact to come to terms with and I personally know how that feels. Moreover, I truly believe as time passes, the world will examine the country’s accomplishments, and know that America was there to help a country succeed, with bloodshed and determination.

Ok, good thread. Cappa, I think your basicaly overlooking we did it for oil. Think about it: Oil, Middle East, we put are army there... Makes sense to me, but. NOw Dizzy says it is'nt common sense. lol.
